What we collect, and why.

Short version: if you get in touch, we keep what you sent us so we can reply to you. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used to advertise to you.

Who this is

This site belongs to XAYVR Studios, the working name of Xavier Quarterman, composer and producer. For anything on this page, including a request to delete your details, write to XAYVR.studios@gmail.com.

What you give us

There is one form on this site. It asks for a name and an email address, and it only sends anything when you submit it. Nothing is read as you type.

What is recorded alongside it

When you submit that form, a few technical details are recorded with it so we know where an enquiry came from and can answer it properly:

There are no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies and no third-party pixels on this site. Nothing is stored in your browser beyond what is needed to remember how you arrived, and that never leaves your device unless you submit the form.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you about your enquiry, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. You will not be added to a mailing list because you asked a question.

Who else touches it

Form submissions are handled and stored by Netlify, which hosts this site. Fonts are served by Google Fonts and an animation library by Cloudflare; loading those means your browser contacts those services, as it does on most of the web. They act as processors for us and are not permitted to use your details for their own purposes.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept while a conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, in case a project comes back around. After that they are deleted. Ask us sooner and we will delete them sooner.

Your say over it

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it outright. One email does it, and there is no form to fill in:

XAYVR.studios@gmail.com. Say what you want done and we will confirm once it is done, normally within a few days and always within 30.

If you are in the UK or the EU and you think we have handled this badly, you are entitled to complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

Children

This site is aimed at people commissioning music professionally. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects what we do with your details, the date at the top changes with it.
